I Reforged All Four Champion Weapons in Tears of the Kingdom — Here’s How

Reforge every Tears of the Kingdom Champion weapon—Revali’s Bow, Mipha’s Trident, Daruk’s Boulder Breaker, and Urbosa’s Scimitar—with exact materials.

As someone who still boots up The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom in 2026, I have to admit that the four Champion weapons remain some of my favorite late-game rewards. They aren’t just stat sticks; they are direct tributes to Revali, Mipha, Daruk, and Urbosa. I recently replayed the regional phenomena with one goal: reforge every legacy weapon. Here is exactly how I did it, what materials I gathered, and where I found the right blacksmiths.

Revali’s Great Eagle Bow — The Rito Triple Shot

After saving Rito Village from the blizzard, I went back and climbed to the upper rooms. Teba was waiting there, already planning to craft the Great Eagle Bow. He offered to make one for Link if I brought the right materials.

Why is this bow so strong? Because it fires three arrows at once. The listed damage is 28, but if all three arrows connect, that is actually 84 damage per shot. That makes it one of the best bows in the game for burst damage, especially when fused with powerful arrow attachments.

The required materials are:

  • 3 Diamonds

  • 5 Bundles of Wood

  • 1 Swallow Bow

I found Diamonds in caves around Rito Village and purchased extras in Goron City for 1,000 Rupees each. Wood came from cutting down trees near the village. The Swallow Bow was the trickiest part, but I eventually found one in a chest along the Rito Flight Path. If you have the Revali Amiibo, you can also get a Swallow Bow instantly. Once I turned everything in, Teba completed the quest Legacy of the Rito and handed over the Great Eagle Bow.

Mipha’s Lightscale Trident — Wet And Deadly

The Lightscale Trident only appears after you save Zora’s Domain. I spoke with Dento in the Zora’s Domain armor shop, and he agreed to recreate Mipha’s spear for Link.

The base damage is only 22, but that number is deceptive. Because it is a Zora weapon, its damage doubles whenever the weapon is wet. That means this spear can reach 44 attack power without fusing anything. Add a strong monster horn, and it becomes a devastating underwater or rain-fight option.

Dento required:

  • 3 Diamonds

  • 5 Flint

  • 1 Zora Spear

Diamonds and Flint were easy enough to gather from caves around Zora’s Domain or by buying them in Goron City. For the Zora Spear, I scanned the Mipha Amiibo, but you can also find one in chests scattered around Zora’s Domain. After returning the materials, I completed the quest Glory of the Zora and received the Lightscale Trident.

Daruk’s Boulder Breaker — The Mining Monster

After saving Goron City, I met a young Goron named Fugo outside the blacksmith’s shop. He wanted to prove himself by crafting Daruk’s Boulder Breaker, and he offered the finished weapon to Link in exchange for help.

This two-handed weapon has a solid 38 damage, but its real value is durability and utility. It lasts much longer than other boulder-breaking weapons, and it can also break enemy armor. If you love exploring caves or the Depths, this thing saves so many weapon slots.

Fugo needed:

  • 3 Diamonds

  • 5 Flint

  • 1 Cobble Crusher

I mined Diamonds and Flint around Goron City. The Cobble Crusher came from a chest, but you can also scan the Daruk Amiibo or defeat a Boss Bokoblin located directly below Goron City in the Depths. Once I delivered everything, Fugo finished the quest Soul of the Gorons and gave me the Boulder Breaker.

Urbosa’s Scimitar of the Seven — The Fusion Powerhouse

The Scimitar of the Seven is the most complicated Champion weapon to obtain, but it is absolutely worth it. After saving Gerudo Town, I had to complete a side quest before the blacksmith would even offer to craft it.

Cara, a lady in the Jewelry Shop, gave me the quest The Missing Shop Owner. She told me her friend Isha had gone missing in the desert. I headed to the Toruma Dunes and found Isha surrounded by a Molduga. After defeating the monster and saving her, Isha returned to Gerudo Town and offered to craft both the Scimitar of the Seven and Urbosa’s shield, the Daybreaker.

The Scimitar’s base damage is 28, but its special ability is huge: it doubles the damage of any fused item. So if I fused a Silver Lizalfos Horn, the total damage jumped to 96. The doubling applies to the total damage, not just the weapon’s own base, which makes this one of the best weapons in the game.

For the Scimitar, Isha required:

  • 3 Diamonds

  • 5 Flint

  • 1 Gerudo Scimitar

If you also want the Daybreaker shield, you need:

  • 1 Diamond

  • 5 Flint

  • 1 Gerudo Shield

I found Diamonds and Flint in nearby caves or purchased them in Goron City. The Gerudo Scimitar and Gerudo Shield can be found in chests or on monsters around the region. The Urbosa or Ganon Amiibo can also help. Once I turned in the materials, I completed the quest Pride of the Gerudo and picked up both the sword and shield.

Are They Still Worth Reforging In 2026?

Absolutely. Even after years of experimentation and wild Zonai builds, these four weapons remain some of the most reliable and emotionally resonant gear in Tears of the Kingdom. The Great Eagle Bow and Scimitar of the Seven are top-tier for combat, while the Boulder Breaker and Lightscale Trident fill specific utility and elemental niches.

If you are replaying the game or just now finishing the regional phenomena, I highly recommend hunting down all four. Yes, the Diamond grind can be annoying, but the payoff is more than worth it.

Champion Weapon NPC Quest Special Effect
Revali Great Eagle Bow Teba Legacy of the Rito Fires 3 arrows at once
Mipha Lightscale Trident Dento Glory of the Zora Damage doubles when wet
Daruk Boulder Breaker Fugo Soul of the Gorons Breaks boulders and armor efficiently
Urbosa Scimitar of the Seven Isha Pride of the Gerudo Doubles fused item damage

So go out there, gather those Diamonds, and reclaim the legacy of Hyrule’s Champions. 🗡️🛡️✨
